Sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways

“Rebuilding the broken walls in our community.” Nehemiah 2:17. Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem (Opelika-Auburn) lies in ruins… let us rebuild!”

What is My Jerusalem?

My Jerusalem is when God’s people have a burden for those in their community who have brokenness in their life.  It is when God’s people take action to rebuild the broken.   The Way 2 Serve Ministries will provide opportunities to serve and will work out all the details.  Home repair or property repair projects are the obvious broken walls in a community. People’s homes have been destroyed and need to be repaired.  In addition to repairing homes many times people are broken. They need genuine relationships with people to point them to Jesus who can repair them.  During My Jerusalem groups of God’s people share his love by visiting those in need while work is being completed on their home. Other ways to serve are block parties and the cookie outreach.
